The trees are tall, reaching up like skyscrapers
Melding in with the faint shade of periwinkle
Seeing only a spot of green before leaving earth
A beam of warm light welcomed her onto its
Sweet natural spotlight. She walks barefoot on the soft ground,
The dirt squishes into the cracks between her toes.
Her red hood billows in the soft breeze behind her.
A patch of indigo blue-its,
With their round tops just clay there.
She picks them.
Then zombies attack.
Eating her limb by limb.
She dies.
